! SCREC JUNE MEETING!
June 18th, 2008 Festivities will begin at 7:00PM
Program: Candidate Forum - Seminole County Clerk of the Court - Randy Garrett and Maryanne Morse - Candidates for the August Republican Primary and November General Election. Come hear the candidates speak about issues important to Seminole County voters.
All Committee members will need to sign new oaths so that they may be subnitted to the Supervisor of Elections. This happens every 4 years.

Precinct Training for new Committee Persons This one-time training which begins promptly at 6PM is required for everybody who would like to be a Precinct Committee Person (or Alternate). It is at this 1 hour session where you will learn the basics of Precinct management and receive the Walking List for your Precinct. The training is followed immediately by the monthly SCREC Executive Committee Meeting. NOTE: Currently elected Committee Persons are welcome to attend this training as a refresher course.

| 2007 REPUBLICAN GRASSROOTS VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD. The Republican Party Of Florida (RPOF) searched the 6,738 precincts that compose our Sunshine state, for THE Republican grassroots volunteer of the year. 18 super grassroots volunteers were selected for the first round, but only one was to receive the award. This year, the award went to Seminole County Committeeman and SCREC chaplain Don Epps. |
